One of our dedicated Saxon participants is currently training hard for this year’s Uckfield Carnival, and his journey is nothing short of inspiring. After surviving a severe car accident at the end of last year, simply getting back on his feet has been a remarkable achievement. But now, he’s taking on an even greater challenge: participating in the Uckfield Carnival in full Saxon chain mail and kit.
As the Carnival approaches on September 7th, we’re rallying the community to cheer him on. You may see his walking the route of the procession and your encouraging shout-outs in the evenings leading up to the big day will mean the world to him as he pushes through his training.
